Their cooler looks to be the same one HTP sells. I have the HTP branded unit, never had an issue with it other than it's a bit loud.

My supplier fills "your" tank if you own it. If it's leased from him, it's an exchange.

As a general rule, inverters have the ability to allow more adjustment over the arc than a typical transformer (there are many exceptions). The Miller Diversion/Hobart EZ Tig is one note able exception. It should be capable of stick welding but it isn't. The torch is hard wired and not easily swappe...

The EZ Tig has NO adjustments other than amperage, and a switch for aluminum / steel. Stay with your PT185. It is also a simplified machine compared to most but more capable than the EZ Tig.

Have a look at the Razorweld ac/dc200. Razorweld makes the CK machine. I have one of these units and like it very well. It's not quite as awesome as my HTP 221 bit it is a thousand dollars less expensive.

Technically it "works". There are several problems with it in actual practice though. The breakers for each hot leg will not bother trip at the same time in event of a fault. In a residential setting, you're talking about pairing two 15 amp circuits, you're still only going to get 15 amps ...

DON'T buy a 120 volt only machine! Get dual voltage. The little bit extra you spend now will be well worth it when you move to a place that has 220 service. Esab 161 can be had for less than $500, AHP 160 for half that. Both are dual voltage machines. The Esab will burn 6010 very well, the AHP, not ...

Don't make it a habit. You can easily toast the torch lead and the torch. In your case, you should be ok.
