Welding Tips and Tricks

Hi,
Can anybody suggest a filler material for the welding of 2 HCHCr (high carbon high chromium) steel parts ?? the welding has to be Leak-proof. is it possible?
what is the pre-heat temperature required?? and the best method to pre heat??

Hi there,

You will need to work out whether the steel is weldable first. Some steels arn't. Consult the manufacturer of that steel part to get the exact chemical make up and go from there.
