Fellow tiggers I'm looking for a new torch, I need one that has three separate hookups, 1 for power (dinse 25), one for argon, and a switch. Most of the torches I see come with the one piece cable. Could someone direct me to where I can find the type of torch I need. I'd like a 17 style. Thanks guys.

If you have a LWS that can order from CK they list this style power connection - most makes do it so it depends a bit on how much your going to use it against price - if you want a cheapie then you won't go wrong with " Shop River " on Ebay - I've had several items for Tig & plasma from them & always been happy - below is link for a torch though they have many variations in the sort you want - hope this helps.

Glad to help - " Shop River " seems to have most consumables as well - quality of what I've had so far is acceptable - always been happy especially for the price - if your in a production type job then probably go for something up market - but for home use it's fine - their torches are well set out in types ( ie 9 / 17 / 26 etc ) - just remember as well as the power connection there are generally 12 or 25 foot length option - flex or rigid head & regular or Euro style body - plus some pencil types - you should find what you need - if it has a torch switch it will have a Chinese style 2pin plug on the wire - you can re-use your old plug if need be or they do sell the female ( socket ) half of this so you could make it up as an adapter or drill an extra hole in your machine & fit it - hope you find what you need - shipping to me ( UK ) is generally 10 days except for very light items that come airmail in jiffy bags which are faster.

CK, Weldcraft, Binzel or Parweld are the best torches, for me 17 or 26 are the best torches :D

One final question, is there a name for this kind of connection?
