what is the best gas lens setup for a 17 torch any suggestions

Many use and recommend the CK stubby lenses. Personally, I prefer the Miller Weldcrafts. They actually have a larger screen area and thinner tungsten collar, and I've had better results from them. They also have an open slot between the threads if you use a Pyrex cup with an O-ring. That's a nice feature for a better fit.

I use Furick Cups from Dogfab.com and I love them. I still use the standard pink cups and gas lenses for aluminum though.
