the clamps hold a aluminum backing plate plate in place, which i had to bend to match the curve.
a bolt had gone through the side of it, mangling the crap out of it.

i don't post work stuff much but this crude repair saves the boss from importing an expensive part, $2k.

tweak it until it breaks
