When you're welding fillet welds on a 90 degree T-bar what are the proper work angles for the 6 beads to be stacked? Like.... 1 2 3 4 5 6?

Thanks

Hi BigMc

I'm no master fabricator, more enthusiast than professional. My 2 cents.

If you are doing horizontal runs on a 90 degree joint then I would think that the multipass runs would go something like.

1 - 45 degrees
2 - at the bottom edge of first pass at about 60 degrees
3 - on the top edge of second pass, say 30 degrees
4, 5 and 6 in the same order as 2 and 3 but at 45 degrees.

Any further runs would be stacked on from bottom to top. As for your tie ins and so on, this is beyond my level of advice.
