What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Here is my 5x10 table, top is 3/4" with 5/8" holes, 3" on center.
Just completed it a few weeks ago!

You got alot of cool gear in your shop but there's something seriously wrong with the tidyness of it all.

That is not Just another 5' by 10' welding table, that is a well crafted, well planned beautiful table that will outlast your grand kids.

Bravo on the table. Well thought out. I'm graduating from welding school in two more weeks and I'm going to look around and note down ideas for my own future shop.

I made some trays for my bench dogs to be used as additional and height adjustable work surface, or as a walk way along the sides of my welding table, if I have something tall on my table top to weld.
Welded frames from 1 1/2" mild steel angle.

Added 12ga pieces for the top.

Trimmed the ends on my plasma table

Test run on one side of the table.

Lots of options in the future. And it works as well on the other side of the table!

I absolutely LOVE that table. Now for the story of the day ...... I put one together and (being a retired fly boy) am learning about L.B. and the tilt effects of not enough steel on one side. I was comfortably sitting at my table about to do some work.. looking across the table and all of a sudden was looking skyward. Now working on stabilizers. Hope y'all are enjoying the mental picture ... the ride was slow and the landing gentle. Also learning the definition of ENTRAPMENT.
