It's not in our nature to do half way. We can't get away wig half way in this field. It could kill someone. Or leave someone unoffended or leave someone who hasn't laughed enoughOtto Nobedder wrote:We don't do ANYTHING half-way around here, including a thread-jack!Coolidge wrote:exnailpounder check your PM I sent you about $20k worth of gold detecting secrets I want to get back to TIG welding in this thread speaking of which, next Mon-Wed most of the TIG hoard arrives!!!

I was gonna say, with Nail around no thread is safe and no thread will ever get back on the rails after he so graciously derailed it.exnailpounder wrote:That'll never happen...not with me around!Poland308 wrote:lol he thought he could redirect a thread jack!Coolidge wrote:exnailpounder check your PM I sent you about $20k worth of gold detecting secrets I want to get back to TIG welding in this thread speaking of which, next Mon-Wed most of the TIG hoard arrives!!!

As for the packages-I have one question. Why did you need a phase converter? I mean it may be nice but was it necessary? Does your new welder need it or did you figure-eh why not? Just curious.

5HP, technically it will run 3 phase motors up to 2.5HP e.g. half the RPC rating. But that is only a loose guide. If the 3 phase machine starts easily, it might run a 3-4 HP 3 phase motor. A hard starting machine like a dust collector maybe max 2.5 HP.
